200/10.5 Pts0 PtsLOST
Danny List has serious power off the tee, and this is exactly the kind of course where that strength can pay dividends. Driving has long been his biggest weapon, and if he finds fairways consistently this week, he’ll give himself plenty of birdie looks. Over four rounds he can be volatile, with consistency the main struggle, but the layout here plays to his strengths. It’s quite similar to the Czech Masters track, where he opened with a 62. At 200/1, he’s worth a small each-way shout.

66/10.5 Pts0 PtsLOST
I have really liked what I have seen from Marcel Schneider this year and not only has he gotten longer off the tee, but he has also become more accurate, he is hitting more greens in regulation, and his scoring average has improved dramatically. That is a sign of how well he has been hitting the ball this week and as another player that was on my initial shortlist, he could be worth siding with in the opening round. When he gets on a roll he can be hard to stop.

40/11 Pts0 PtsLOST
Norgaard Møller looks overpriced at 40/1 in this market. He’s the longest hitter on Tour and while distance isn’t the top attribute to focus on this week, if he keeps it straight off the tee it will give him a huge edge with his approaches. He was on my shortlist for the main squad and just missed the final cut, but he still looks a very tempting play for a first-round leader punt. He is a dangerous player to look past this week.

I think Marcus Kinhult is very much overpriced this week and ranks highly in my list of good ball strikers on the DP World Tour. He may not have the most eye-catching stats however that is purely down to a slight lack of consistency.
What these stats don’t show you however is the fact that Marcus has pinpoint accuracy with his irons, and he also has a consistently high green in regulation percentage and that is a good trait to have for links golf.
He isn’t the biggest hitter but he plays within himself so he also hits plenty of fairways. He has a surprisingly attractive bunch of credentials for links golf and he did finish 2nd in the last edition of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. This DP World Tour winner goes under the radar this week.

50/11 Pts62 PtsNOT SET
Although Oli Lindell hasn’t exactly got obvious links golf form, he has been a player that has been very progressive this year and his scoring has just continued to improve as the season has gone on. In his last 7 starts he has had 5 Top 25 finishes and he was really impressive in The Open at Royal Portrush shooting four rounds in the 60’s.
He will need to bring his best game this week, but as mentioned this is a weaker lineup than usual and it could be a big opportunity for him to make his breakthrough victory. He is full of confidence and has plenty going for him this week.

I like Matthew Jordan’s chances this week at Trump International as a real professional player who doesn’t make too many mistakes.
I was quite disappointed with him in the Scottish Open and in the Open Championship but he is definitely one of the better valued players this week based on credentials. He has previously played really well on links golf courses and the field this week doesn’t look overly strong at all.
He may not be a flashy player but his approach play has consistently been really good and if he hits plenty of greens as I expect him to this week, then he should be able to feature highly come the weekend. He has let us down a few times this season but I think he offers plenty this week and we give Matthew Jordan a chance at redemption.

100/11 Pts122 PtsNOT SET
I have to take a piece of the 100/1 on Ryan Fox this week because he fits this golf course very well and if you take Scottie Scheffler out of the equation, he is more than capable of getting competitive here.
His left to right shot shape has been ever so consistent and he already has a host of big wins to his name so he is no stranger to success. He can be a little bit hit and miss with regards to form, but basing his game on best form, he is overpriced here and owes us nothing having won for us at 66/1 already this season. Worth a small punt at a golf course that he should enjoy.

35/11 Pts44 PtsNOT SET
I think Aaron Rai is a good addition to the squad this week as a very good course management player. His game in general is find fairways, then find greens and that brings out consistency in his scoring and he should be able to get competitive around here.
If you take a look at the golf courses the players have competed on in the past three months, there haven’t actually been many that match Aaron’s credentials, but this golf course should bring out his strengths and I think he is worth a shot this week.

35/12.5 Pts110 PtsNOT SET
Wyndham Clark hasn’t found peak form yet and he has been coming under a fair amount of criticism but this golf course will surely bring out the best in his game. It suits the left to right shot shape here, and Wyndham, has started to strike the ball much better again and that is what brings out his consistency.
This was exactly what enabled him to win the US Open and I don’t think he is far off that form now. He missed the cut at the Rocket Classic, but since then he has gone on to finish tied 11th in the Scottish Open, tied 4th at the Open Championship, and last week finished tied 12th in the 3M Open. I think this golf course suits Wyndham better than most and his iron play of late will surely be the enabler in him scoring well this week.
